I made an appt. for the doctor to be his first patient so I'd open my store on time. The appt. was at 8:30 at 9:30 the Doctor had finally seen me said I would now wait to see the flabotomist for a blood draw. I said I'd have to see her right away or I wouldn't be able to open my store. They said there was nothing they could do about it the blood draw was separate business and they had no control. I firmly said that I needed to open my store. They said there was nothing they could do. I have sugar and have mood swings, hormone shots that I was without. I'm unable to medicate my depression, all the medicine I've tried makes me too anxious. I had asked to simply execute my visit in less than an hour and a half and I was the first appointment slot of the day. They said not possible. Still even though they verbally said they couldn't help me in a few minutes they called me in. The girl to draw blood was new she hurt me badly both arms and apologized and wanted to stop trying to get the blood draw. I asked her to finish. I was about ten minutes late to open my store. Page two.... So they call me with the blood results and tell me my liver number is low please retest. They fax me the prescription because I wanted to not get hurt again. I mistakenly thought they had faxed me the test. I called back the girl she said your results are (some different number) so different that I realized that my liver fax was not the test results but actually there was a number for the insurance refence that identified this type of test. During the course of this I recalled that my liver number has been high for years. So I asked the girl how much higher it was than the last test. She said three points. I asked in light of this info. do I still need to get the test? She said she would ask the doctor and call me back. Page three: So the office calls me back and says the Doctor is familiar with your case. I said... so does this mean I don't need the test? The girl on the phone said "what test?" I replied "the liver test" She answered "what liver test" I thought for a second and said " this is'nt the girl who called me first is it?" "No" she said. I asked if she could have the girl call me who I talked to me first, she seemed exasperated but agreed. No one ever called me I recieved a letter signed by Dr. Lago saying we will service you for thirty days, you need to find a new Doctor. My feelings were hurt, I never meant to upset anyone and I like Dr. Lago maybe he doesn't like me? Page four this coninues... So the office called me a few days ago (six months later) and said you have an appointment tomarrow don't miss it. So I showed up thinking that I wasn't hated for being difficult but that it had gone away as mysteriously as it had begun. But not to be... the office manager informed that they had made a mistake and I had been sent a notice by registered maiI. They did all that right there in front of everyone in waiting room. I said the letter had come but I also played the message back. They said it was a mistake and apologized. Then I said the letter had no explanation what was the reason... Dr. Lago kind of partially peaked around the corner and said that It had been kind of hairy on my last visit. So I left feeling unwanted with my sickness and mood swings. Isn't this the kind of thing that doctors put up with because we're not well? I long for a Doctor and office staff who care enough to know that depressed people fasting with sugar and without hormone supplements are moody. I never yelled. I was strong and firm but not rude. So while looking for the new doctor I ran across this opportunity to review the old Dr. office. I wish them well and hope that never have to put with anyone like me ever again. If I find a good Doctor's office I'm going to come back here here and write that too. Thanks for reading my story... I do feel better hoping that someone will finally get to hear how I felt.
